Lenovo launches Moto 360 smart watch and Moto X Style in China.

The second-gen Moto 360 smart watch is pre-installed with Chumenwenwen, the Chinese voice search service.


Baidu launches DU AD platform, a global mobile advertising network.

The search giant claims its mobile apps for international markets, including DU Battery Saver, DU Speed Booster, ES File and MoboMarket, have had a total of 700 million users from some 200 countries and regions, with 250 million monthly active users.

Baidu also launched today duer, an Siri-like intelligent personal assistant. Duer has integrated Baidu’s own services, such as Baidu Maps and Nuomi (group-buying), hoping to introduce more third-party services.


Tongfang Health Technology Co.,Ltd., a manufacturer of fitness testing and body composition analyzing products, has got listed on China’s New OTC Market (or China’s New Third Board).

The company unveiled in 2014 Bodivis, a sub-brand for connected health products that has rolled out a smart body scale and activity-tracking wristband. (via Sina Tech)

Qihoo 360 alleges that “Coolpad breaches its non-compete obligations”, asking Coolpad to buy Qihoo’s 49.5% stake in Coolpad E-Commerce Inc., a joint venture between the two set up in December 2014, for twice its fair market value.

It is believed that it has something to do with Leview’s recent acquisition of an 18% stake in Coolpad. Leview is the smartphone business of LeTV (Leshi) that was established in early 2015.
