Ninebot, the Xiaomi-backed personal transportation device maker, released Ninebot mini, the first model after the company announced acquisition of Segway and investment from Xiaomi and Sequoia Capital earlier in April.

It’ll sell for RMB1999 (about US$320) on Xiaomi’s online store.

Xiaomi launches its third-gen smart TV and will sell MiTV main board separately.

LeTV (aka. Leshi), online video and smart device company, has acquired a controlling stake in Yongche.com (aka. Yidao), a car rental and private car hailing service provider, for a rumored US$700 million. (via Sina Tech)

LeTV is developing electric cars.


Didi’s bus service has officially launched and now is available on Didi app.

The service launched in beta on Didi’s WeChat public account in July. It has had more than 700 routes in Beijing and Shenzhen. (via Sina Tech)
