Google invests over US$60 million in Mobvoi, a mobile voice search and Android Wear app developer. Mobvoi was founded by former Googlers. — TechCrunch

Didi will launch on-demand test drive service in Beijing on October 23rd. It has had more than 20 car brands on board.

The service will expand to five more cities in November. (via Sina Tech)

China Mobile had had 248 million 4G users as of September.

Grocery delivery app Shandiangou announces Series B funding led by Xiaomi founder-backed Shunwei Capital Partners and H.Capital, with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners China and Yuanjing Capital.

It’s now available in six cities, with some 10,000 merchants on its platform and 5 million users. (via Sina Tech)

The App Store removes hundreds of apps that extract personal information through an SDK from Chinese advertising company Youmi — Sourcedna.

Youmi says it is negotiating with Apple.

Fiil, a smart headphone startup founded by Chinese singer-songwriter Wang Feng, launches its first series.
