Mi5Xiaomi launches Mi 5, its fifth flagship phone, and Mi 4S.

Xiaomi’s offline service centers, which currently only sell accessories, will begin selling Xiaomi’s primary products including smartphones. The company wants to have more than 200 offline stores across China in the near future.


OPPO, one of the leading smartphone makers in China, has developed a technology that can fully charge a smartphone in 15 minutes. — Engadget

The company’s total smartphone shipments in 2015 were approximately 50 million, according to the company.


Meituan, the leading local services platform, has launched Kuai Lv, an accounting and management system for merchants on its food and grocery delivery app.

The system also includes Kuai Lv Jinhuo, a marketplace for suppliers of restaurant food and supplies. Ele.me, a direct competitor in food and grocery delivery to Meituan, launched a similar marketplace last October.
