Ninebot, the personal transportation device maker Xiaomi invested in last year, unveils today a one-wheel electric scooter.

It will retail at RMB999 (US$153). A crowdfunding campaign will go live on JD.com on March 1st.

Ninebot acquired Segway last April and launched Ninebot mini, a two-wheel transporter, last October.


Podcast platform Qingting.FM announced Series D round of financing led by China Culture Industrial Investment Fund, claiming a valuation of RMB2.5 billion (US$380M). The company has removed VIE structure.


Baofeng, the online video and VR company, recorded RMB652 million (US$100M) in total revenue in 2015, a 69% growth from the previous year. Operating profits increased 395% to RMB161 million (US$25M).
