WeChat monthly active users (MAU) reached 697 million at the end of 2015, a 39% year-over-year growth, according to Tencent’s latest earnings. MAU of QQ mobile app increased 11% year-over-year to 642 million.
Messaging app users that have bundled bank accounts have surpassed 300 million, the management said during the earnings conference call.
Smart phone games revenue saw 53% year-over-year increase in 2015 to RMB21.3 billion (about US$3.3 bn).
