Xianyu, the online marketplace for used and free items of Alibaba Group, announced 100 million users on March 26th.

Launched in June 2014, the service was seeing more than 200,000 daily transactions as of November 2015.

Tencent’s online comics platform had had more than 50 million users and an estimate of more than 50% of the original comics content market, Tencent Interactive Entertainment Group company announced on March 25th.

Yuewen Group, the online literary work publishing platform of Tencent, had had some 4 million authors and about 10 million works, covering some 600 million users.

Tencent Pictures, the film company unveiled in September 2015, plans to publish seven movies this year. It owns film studios and will produce films adapted from games or literary works.

Tencent Games plans to launch 16 games in 2016.

Cainiao, Alibaba’s logistics affiliate, announces Cainiao Union (not official translation), a program for third-party logistics companies that has begun powering same-day deliveries in 12 cities and next-day deliveries in 90 cities, according to the company.

Cainiao was recently valued at a reported US$7.7 billion.
